Scholle Packaging Joins the Sustainable Packaging Coalition August 29, 2007 | Scholle Packaging is proud to announce our partnership with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC). The SPC is an organization that promotes innovative, functional packaging material systems with positive economic and environmental benefits. Joining the SPC allows Scholle Packaging to further develop strategic partnerships to advance the Scholle Green mission, share sustainability expertise, and understand perspectives on global trends. The Sustainable Packaging Coalition envisions a world where all packaging is sourced responsibly, designed to be effective and safe, meets market criteria for performance and cost, and made entirely using renewable energy or recycled efficiently to provide a valuable resource for subsequent generations. Scholle Green representatives will be at the September 24th-25th SPC meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, which will be followed by the Sustainable Packaging Forum from the 25th-27th.
